I'm thrilled to introduce you to one of our amazing contributing artists, Lindsay Fournier, a local talent right here in West Seattle. Lindsay's flair for minimalist and modern design is truly something to behold, and we're lucky to have her on board crafting unique hometown merch for Emerald City Threads. Her creations infuse a fresh perspective into our lineup, capturing the essence of our beloved city in ways that resonate with locals and visitors alike.
Meet Lindsay
- How long have you lived in West Seattle or the surrounding area? I am a true PNW girl! I moved to West Seattle from North Idaho in 2008. I had an 8 year adventure downtown … and then moved back to the westside in 2021.
- What drew you to the specific medium or art form that you currently work with? I was always creative and knew I wanted to work in marketing at a young age. I started my first graphic design classes in high school.
- How does the environment or community you live in inspire or inform your artistic practice? I grew up in a small town and that is what led me to originally move to West Seattle. I love the small town vibe. My artwork is inspired by that local mentality, I don’t over think things. I also love to incorporate an outdoor-PNW, feel whenever I can. I am also really inspired by the urban lifestyle and absolutely love street art.
